remake of a comic from a year ago about a little ghost that comes out of a kid’s body to explore! i really just wanted to make something simple and nice ╲ʕ·ᴥ· ╲ʔ
Anonymous said: you seem to do a really good job of being productive and creating awesome art while balancing fun times, too! do you have any advice on how you manage that? Like, time management tips for art-making??
aw jeez dude, i’m glad it seems that way, because i always feel like i’m either working way too hard or not working nearly enough! it’s good to hear that i don’t come across as the fumbling, naive infant that i truly am.
but hey i can definitely still answer this!! under a cut again because i talk SO MUCH i’m sorry i don’t know why you guys put up with me
Anonymous said: what advice would you give to someone wanting to start a comic? From the very basics
oh man okay, well, everyone has different goals for their comics and everyone’s process is different, but i can absolutely give you advice on what works for me and the stuff that i think about when i start a comic! (under cut because i got too into this)
my favorite pages from my lil comic Amarinthine (sans text)
i’m still trying to figure out how to put the whole thing on tumblr without it getting weird, so keep your eyes peeled!
if you follow me on any other social media/have to deal with me in real life you know how hopelessly and obnoxiously in love with yowapeda i am.
bet you can’t guess who my two favorites are
Anonymous said: what program do you use for your art? i really love it do death by the way !!
thank you!! i use pretty much exclusively photoshop! :>
set of girl gang postcards i did for CAKE!!
get tattoos, start a fight, go through a lot of bandaids
Anonymous said: Your art is amazing and your name is so cool I can't believe I'm just finding out about you!
YOU are amazing, thank you so much, you’re the best!!!
Anonymous said: Do you sketch then ink or do you just go at it in your comics? Cus dang, bub, impressive.
(thank you!!!) i sketch a ton before i ink because i am absolutely terrible at doing good straight to ink drawings, haha! i like to plan things out to the letter and get every line as close to where i want it as possible, so my pencils for my comics are usually as detailed as i can possibly get ‘em.
